Open the year around, Alaska's Treehouse B&B is nestled in 2 acres of spruce and hemlock at the edge of town. Spectacular views of the Chugach mountains are visible from the sun room where you will enjoy a hearty, gourmet breakfast of sourdough pancakes with warm wild berry sauces and fresh fruit parfaits, or other tasty fare. Hand-crafted custom woodwork and spacious rooms furnished with antiques and Alaskan art contribute to an inviting, comfortable atmosphere. Hiking trails leave from our door and promise sightings of a variety of birds and frequently moose, or you might prefer to relax in the hot tub on the new deck, or in the rustic, wood-fired sauna. The "Treehouse" offers you a quiet retreat in the forest, but is only minutes from the restaurants, tours and activities of Seward.

Innkeepers Sheila Morrow, Al Lamberson and Jessie are longtime Alaskan residents and active outdoor enthusiasts - hiking, biking, running the local trails, (30 Mt. Marathon races to Al's credit in '98), and kayaking the fjords. Al is a skilled woodcrafter, and Sheila, a compulsive gardener. Jessie, a U. of W. pre-med. student, helps with the B&B to support her education. We all love to travel, (staying in B&Bs, of course), and are happy to recommend activities and share our knowledge of the Kenai.

Large, comfortable, smoke-free rooms accommodate singles to small groups. "The Suite" offers 2 adjoined rooms, private entrance and bath, beds for 5 and still room for more. "The Forest Room", cozy with its antiques and queen bed, offers a peaceful woodland view and a library of Alaskan books. TV/VCR, phones and Alaskan videos are complimentary in each room.
